WHY COME TO ISC MEDICAL'S TEACHING & PRESENTATION COURSE?

Our medical teaching and presentation course is popular with doctors at all levels.  Here are the main reasons behind our success:

MAXIMUM 12 participants (competing courses take 16!)
We don't make you sit in large groups like our competitors do. We believe in giving you real value for money by ensuring you recieve the maximum personal attention and support throughout the day and that you learn new teaching and presentation skills in a way that suits you personally. For this reason, the number of participants on our medical teaching and presentation skills course is limited to a maximum of 12 people.

Group activities and individual practice
Learning teaching skills and how to give effective presentations is not just about theory, it is also about practice. Because we only take a small number of delegates and our course is designed with full participation in mind, you will get plenty of individual practice during the course of the two days. Real practice is what will make you succeed as an effective trainer, not formal lectures.

We don't just TEACH you, we COACH you
Our teaching strategy is to make you learn all key teaching and presentation skills techniques through discussion and active participation. We firmly believe you will not learn to be a good teacher or communicator simply by being spoon-fed answers via a PowerPoint presentation. Whilst other course providers may simply give you a few facts and techniques, we actually spend time with you so that you understand the concepts, you are able to use them and apply them to deliver your own innovative teaching sessions.

You will receive plenty of personal attention throughout the day
Not only will the small number of participants allow you plenty of opportunity to practice during the day, you will also have personal access to the trainer to discuss any issues or questions you may have throughout the course, during all the breaks and at the end of the course day.  Perhaps you have a background that is unusual or a particular feature of your past training that you want to discuss in more depth.  We will give you all the time you need!
