Our one-to-one interview sessions last two hours and are completely tailored to your needs and your personal circumstances. They cover all the important aspects of interviews, from general skills to ethical/difficult work scenarios, current issues affecting your specialty and other hot topics.

Coaching is available weekdays at our London office as follows. Our office is centrally located, with easy access by tube and by train.

A two-hour session costs only £299. The fee entitles you to free email-based follow-up between the session and your next interview. MDU members are entitled to a 20% discount (Fee: £239)

CASE STUDY

Kathryn was applying for a substantive post in Paediatrics in an unfamiliar Trust. She felt fully qualified for the post but feared that the job would be given to the local Registrar, who was well known locally. Having previously obtained feedback that she was "saying the right things but with very little impact", she came to us for advice as she wasn't sure of how she could reduce the amount of "waffle" in her answers.

Our initial mock interview revealed that, although Kathryn was presenting appropriate examples to back up her answers, she was waffling because she was failing to make the information relevant. For example, when asked what she could offer the Trust, she talked at length about her experience but was not showing the panel how they could use her experience to the Trust's benefit.

After only one 2-hour session during which our trainer made Kathryn practice a range of techniques, Kathryn was able to correct her technique and then went on to obtain the post.
